Excuse the spam and blatant self-promotion but I’m starting off 2024 as a freelancer and could use your help so feel free to share with anyone that might need a helping hand of the inspirational kind!

Nothing is too small, or too unusual.

Short-contract and casual work suits best, preferably near my new home in Fitzroy, Melbourne, but I do have accommodations in Sydney, Northern Rivers, Bathurst, Newcastle, Central Coast and Adelaide and have van and will travel.

I am a trained performer, visual artist, musician, teacher, theatre tech, and mechanic, with loads of FOH experience. Keen on performative roles, creative production, direction, creative workshopping, making and/or technical roles in the arts & entertainment industries – theatre, cabaret, circus, festivals, film, workshops, events etc.

I am a strong, versatile, motorbike-riding, enthusiastic woman who loves to nut stuff out in creative collaboration. I’m not afraid of heights, to learn new things or to get my hands dirty. I comfortably hold a top hat in one hand and a drill in the other and am equally as happy mopping the stage floor as I am entertaining folk (and both simultaneously should the role permit).

I am an expressive character performer and a strong improvisor, who can act, sing, dance, play music, draw, take great photos, scriptwrite, graphic design and build stuff etc.

I’m a naturally upbeat and energetic ‘clown-type’ who loves engaging and motivating people. I like to feel useful, especially creatively and am the type of person that will just work away until the job is done!

I am a professional visual artist, so would suit being part of art direction teams – I am strong with design, making and good on the tools (have current White Card).

I am a capable theatre technician, and can assist in show lighting, sound, stage management, bump-in/outs and mech work. I am a confident driver and great on FOH and have a current RSA (I make a mean cocktail & coffee).

I am a qualified drama/ art teacher (with a current WWCC), so would suit running creative workshops with ages 4 – 94 yr olds, and casual school teaching.

If you or anyone you know needs any of the above boxes ticked, even if it’s just a day’s work, shoot me a line.

I’d appreciate the leg up!
